  THE BIOGRAPHY
Steve Austin got a phone call from WCW President Eric Bischoff while he was nursing an injury in 1995. Eric told Austin that he was fired. Austin was angry, but this made him more determined than ever. Austin was hired by ECW and starred in the organization for the short time that he was their. Austin decided it was time to move on to the WWF.
Steve Austin debuted in the WWF in 1995 as The Ringmaster.
He was the Million Dollar Champion and was managed by Ted DiBiase. Austin was immediately discouraged. He wanted a character that would get him "over" with the fans. His wife gave him the idea of Stone Cold Steve Austin.
This created the beer-guzzling, jaw-jacking son of a $%#@! that we know today. Austin won many titles, including the Intercontinental championship, the Tag Team titles, and the King of the Ring. Austin did not stop their though. He won the 1998 Royal Rumble and began to feud with Vince McMahon.
In the main event at Wrestlemania 14, with Mike Tyson as the special enforcer, Stone Cold defeated Shawn Michaels for the WWF title.
